April 2026 — mjgapp.com goes live
This is the first /now entry. Treat it as the ground-floor snapshot.
Shipping this month
- Launched mjgapp.com (this site) as a workshop and storefront for the dev-tools and client work side of what I do
- Shipped Laravel Audit v0.1 — a $39 Claude Code skill that scans Laravel codebases for security, performance, and AI-slop issues. Gumroad listing going live after the site does
- Opened waitlists for MailLore, SpeedLens, HeroAI Command Center, Competitor Watch Pro, Finagle, FinancesWiz, Photowigy, Blahby, and STOhub
In active development
- MailLore (AI email intelligence) and SpeedLens (self-hosted performance auditing) are the two biggest apps in progress. Both are deep enough that they'll dominate the next few /now entries
- Laravel Audit v0.2 rules are queued — Blade XSS, CSRF gaps, route auth holes, dangerous unserialize
Client work
- Wrapped Joe's Handy Services site and Villainy Thrives brand site earlier this year — both featured in /work
Next month's goals
- First $1,000 from Laravel Audit sales within 30 days of the Gumroad launch
- Ship MailLore's core IMAP/Gmail sync and semantic search
- Three more case studies on /work
